MODCloud provides Public Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) hosting options which are set up to meet MoD security and compliance guidelines for hosting data at OFFICIAL (including all caveats and descriptors):

• Azure Connected Environment (ACE)
• Internet Connected Environment (ICE)

Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) - is the capability provided to the customer to provision processing, storage, networks, and other fundamental computing resources where the consumer is able to deploy and run arbitrary software, which can include operating systems and applications. The customer does not manage or control the underlying Cloud infrastructure but has control over operating systems, storage, and deployed applications; and possibly limited control of select networking components (e.g. host firewalls).
